Our new equipment: camera and monitor recorder

Video studio equipment «phase» has replenished with new equipment. We bought a movie camera company Blackmagic, monitor recorder Odyssey 7Q, and also to upgrade our camera Sony FS700 — now you can use it to record 4K RAW video.

Let us consider the two updates.

Blackmagic Production Camera 4K — it’s the world’s smallest 4K digital cinema camera. Small size does not detract from its merits: the camera records video in Ultra HD TV or 4K with fantastic picture quality. Picture in Ultra HD 4K is four times on the same parameter 1080 HD.

In the arsenal of cameras Blackmagic built 35mm touch screen that allows you to control the process, change settings, and enter metadata directly from the camera. A mount compatible EF lenses gives you the freedom to work with professional cinema lenses.

Monitor recorder Odyssey 7Q can record both 2D and 3D-mode and RAW raw material. The face of this monitor — OLED display with a resolution of 1280×800 up to four HD streams in quad view mode with online switching. Compared with other professional models Odyssey 7Q has the necessary features like vectorscope, an oscilloscope, zebra, focus assistant, etc. In addition Odyssey weighs less and has less power, which puts it a leader among similar models.
